How RentGidi works
One place for the whole let: the listing, the application, the agreement and every payment. Nobody in the middle takes a commission.
Renting a home
Five steps from search to keys, each one recorded in My rentals.
Every listing shows rent, caution, service charge and any other fee, and a badge once the landlord’s ID and bank are checked.
Your move-in date, work and income go straight to the landlord. There is no application fee.
If the landlord asks for a holding deposit, it takes the home off the market while you sign, and it counts towards your move-in cost.
The landlord sends the tenancy agreement. You both sign on RentGidi and keep a copy.
Pay through Paystack by card or transfer. The landlord is told, and your receipt waits in My rentals.
Letting a home
From your first listing to money in your bank, with the agent fee at ₦0.
Add your ID and the bank account rent should go to. Once they match, your listings carry the verified badge.
Add photos, the rent and each fee, like caution or service charge. Renters see the total before they apply, so fewer surprises at viewing.
Each application comes with the renter’s ID status, job and income, and how the rent compares with what they earn. Approve, or decline with a reason they’ll see.
Send the tenancy agreement from the listing. You both sign on RentGidi and keep the signed copy.
The renter pays through Paystack. The money shows in Money, and you withdraw it to the account we checked.
